Mariela is back w/ Reiki
When a child falls and hurts himself, the mother will lay her hand on that particular spot and give it love and attention. The mother has the intention to take the pain away and often the child accepts and experiences the pain is gone.
We as Reiki practitioners are very much like Mom. We have the intention to help the body heal and through our hands, we channel loving energy into the body.
We are taught how to center ourselves, become still and clear of any distractions so all that loving and healing energy can come through.
